Mornings Are My Reset Button
I’m an early riser. There’s something about waking up before the world gets noisy that helps me mentally prepare for the day ahead. I love starting my mornings with a workout and a walk with my dog Bissell—it clears my mind and gets my energy flowing before I head to the shop.
The Boutique Hustle Begins
Once I get to Maggie Adams, the first thing I do is check emails and get all online orders packaged and out the door. I know how exciting it is to get that shipping notification, so I try to be speedy! After that, it’s go-time inside the store.
On quieter mornings or in between customers, we’re always busy behind the scenes—receiving new merchandise, ticketing, and steaming everything so it’s showroom-ready. It’s important to me that when you walk in, the shop feels fresh and full of inspiration.
Wearing All the Hats
You might not know this, but I personally handle all the boutique’s social media and email marketing. From snapping photos and writing captions to sending out style tips and new arrival alerts, it’s all me behind the screen! It’s a labor of love, but I enjoy getting creative and connecting with you all online as much as I do in person.
The Heart of My Day: You
My absolute favorite part of any workday? Styling you. There’s nothing better than watching someone light up when they find a look they love. Whether it’s the perfect pair of jeans or a head-to-toe outfit for a special event, that smile when you leave the store is the best feeling in the world.
Winding Down
By the end of the day, I’m usually leaving the store tired, hungry, and so ready to spend time with my family. But I always leave feeling grateful. I get to do what I love—helping women feel beautiful and confident—and that’s something I’ll never take for granted.
